An important method that can confirm the diagnosis of chronic obstructive bronchitis (COB) is the definition of irreversible airflow obstruction. To investigate the irreversibility of the obstruction using a sample with inhaled bronchodilators and assesses their effect on the flow-volume curve, mainly in FEV1. Credible bronhodilyatatsion answer on the value exceed the spontaneous variability, as well as the response to bronchodilators, have been reported in healthy individuals. Therefore, the magnitude of growth in FEV1 equal and never exceed 15 % of predicted, is recognized as a marker of negative bronchodilation response. Upon receipt of this increase airflow limitation is documented as irreversible. In this regard, the purpose of this study was to explore the diagnostic information content of the study of pulmonary ventilation function with carrying out pharmacological tests in the diagnosis of chronic obstructive bronchitis in adolescence.
