Деятельность христианских конфессий в Узбекистане и их роль в формировании религиозной толерантности

Аннотация

Subjects of research: the subject of the research deals with the Christian confessions functioning in Uzbekistan. Purpose of work: the main purpose of the work is to present general scientific notions on the origin, development, teachings, main scripts and current state of Christian confessions; to train specialists able to work closely with them; to give these specialists detailed and more comprehensive instructions to demonstrate their high education and spirituality when working with those religious groups. Method of research: historical, comparatively-analytical and logical analysis methods. The results obtained and their novelty: the history of non-Islamic religions and their emergence in Uzbekistan; scientific conclusions on the role of these religions in strengthening religious tolerance have been put in scientific circulation; non-Islamic confessions within our republic and their networks have extensively been studied; certain non-Islamic religious sects threatening the progress of society were uncovered and relevant methods of fighting those sects were worked out; the authority policy have as well been analyzed. Practical value: scicntifically-theoretic findings of the thesis can be used in conducting lessons on the subjects dealing with the measures taken against missionary works, sources of Judaism and Christianity, history of world religions and religious studies. Degree of embed and economic effectivity: over 5 scientific articles and a methodological manual have been published; speeches have been made in scientific conferences; the research findings were used in giving lectures on the History of World Religions. Field of application: the research conclusions can be used in studying religious studies on the relevant specialty, the history of non-Islamic religions, the role of non-Islamic confessions in strengthening religious tolerance in Uzbekistan and spiritually-cducational works.
