The paper describes the etiological factors of iatrogenic nature that contribute to the occurrence of maxillary sinusitis, its pathogenesis, features of the clinical course and modern diagnostics. A comparison of surgical techniques that are used for surgical treatment is given, and the tactics of managing patients in the rehabilitation period are described. The necessity of developing new methods of complex treatment and methods of rehabilitation of patients with maxillary sinusitis is substantiated. KEYWORDS Maxillary sinusitis, surgery, CT.
