Subject of research: The lentil bean sort of “Radost”. Purpose of work: The aim of research is to determine the influence of times and rates of lentil seed sown on stubble remains from winter wheat as double crop in typical sierozem soil condition of foothill plains in Kashkadarya region to high yield and quality achievement and soil fertility, and to give recommendation. Method of research Field and industrial experiments were conducted by the methods of “Methodics of State Variety Test for agricultural crops”(1971) and “Methodics for field experiments’ll985) The results obtainad and their novelty: There were first determined seed germination, exceed of vegetation period comparing with later sowing (August. 1.), plant keeping and flowering abilities, full forming of beans and tubers, dry mass of “Radost” sown on stubble on July.l, and high yield achieved and soil fertility in the typical sierozems of foothills in Kashkadarya Practical value: Scientific-practical theory was furthered on applying lentil beans in the cotton-cereal crop rotation system by growing lentil on stubble of winter wheat. Times and rates of sowing lentil seeds were also determined in double crop, and recommendations were given, as well as, applied in wide range. Degree of embed and economic effictivitu: Results from field and industrial experiments for last three years were introduced in Kashkadarya for the 18000 hectare area. Sowing the “Radost” in winter wheat stubble with resource water at the 400000 seeds/hectarc rate in early July is economic profit giving 48783 soums/hectare of net income, and profitability consists in 12.6 percent Field of application: farming economics in foothill plains with typical sierozem soils
