—The tourism sector, which is considered one of the main links of the economy in many countries of the world, is one of the most advanced sectors of some developed countries. As a result of the comprehensive development of the tourism industry, its various directions have appeared. One of such new promising areas is gastronomic tourism, which will have aspects that reflect the culture of the nations. As a result of the development of the field of gastronomic tourism, the study of the field from the point of view of linguistics and translation studies is gaining relevance, and this problem occupies a reasonable place on the research agenda. INTRODUCTION Like other national literatures, American literature was shaped by the history of the country that produced it. For almost a century and a half, America was merely a group of colonies scattered along the eastern seaboard of the North American continent--colonies from which a few hardy souls tentatively ventured westward. After a successful rebellion against the motherland, America became the United States, a nation. By the end of the 19th century this nation extended southward to the Gulf of Mexico, northward to the 49th parallel, and westward to the Pacific. By the end of the 19th century, too, it had taken its place among the powers of the world-its fortunes so interrelated with those of other nations that inevitably it became involved in two world wars and, following these conflicts, with the problems of Europe and East Asia. Meanwhile, the rise of science and industry, as well as changes in ways of thinking and feeling, wrought many modifications in people's lives. All these factors in the development of the United States molded the literature of the country. 2. MAIN PART At this point, due to the lack of inter-linguistic and inter-cultural alternative that arises as a result of the interaction of different languages or cultures, different aspects are manifested in the understanding and interpretation of concepts specific to another language and culture by the owner of one language and culture. On January 5, 2019, the announcement of the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan ShavkatMirziyoyev No. 5611 “On additional measures for the rapid development of tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan” promising types of tourism in the territory of our country, this among other things, the task of developing new tourism programs, taking into account the potential of gastronomic tourism, was set, and it was shown that it is necessary to attach great importance to the issues of further development of gastronomic tourism, extensive research of linguistic units related to this field. It is known that any nation the national culture of that nation finds its expression in its dishes. Isomorphic and allomorphic features of food name nominations in different systematic languages, their linguistic and cultural properties, the reality, events and processes related to the preparation and consumption of food, the lifestyle, ceremonies, and customs of the local people, as well as the derivational features of gastronomic terms, It is obvious that there is a need to conduct extensive monographic research on the nomination of terms and their linguistic and cultural characteristics, structural derivational, lexical- semantic, isomorphic, allomorphic aspects of gastronomic terminology, linguistic and cultural characteristics of the translation of terms, characteristics and methods of translating terms.
