This article analyzes the linguistic and cultural aspects of the translation of converse verbs. Converse verbs are defined as linguistic units with opposite meanings. It is based on the fact that the main problem that arises in the translation of converse verbs in achieving equivalence is the implicit transfer of cultural information. It has been shown that the use of various transformational actions in translation, such as the converse method, is a way to preserve the essence of cultural information in the translated language.
