This paper explores the effectiveness of interactive methods in developing communicative competence in students. Communicative competence is crucial for effective communication in various contexts, encompassing linguistic, sociolinguistic, discourse, and strategic dimensions. Interactive methods engage students actively in the learning process, allowing them to practice language skills in authentic contexts and develop proficiency through meaningful interaction. This paper reviews key interactive methods, such as group discussions, role-playing, collaborative projects, and technology integration, highlighting their benefits for communicative competence development. It also discusses challenges educators may face in implementing interactive methods and provides strategies for overcoming these challenges.
