THE GENERAL SITUATION OF THE FORMATION OF INVESTMENTS IN THE CONDITIONS OF ECONOMIC LIBERALIZATION IN UZBEKISTAN

Investments are one of the main factors of ensuring economic growth and economic development. In recent years, the investment processes have been activated in Uzbekistan. As we know, attracting investments is one of the main goals of every country. Investments have a great role in achieving sustainable economic growth, implementing structural changes in the economy, and improving the living standards of the population. A favorable investment environment for investors has been established in our country today, and this convenience is bearing fruit. attracting investors, on the one hand, provides new technologies, management experience, knowledge and stable economic growth in the country, on the other hand, it strengthens the global economic opportunities due to the integration of the rich resources and production capabilities of the republic into the world economy. In particular, the 26th goal of the new development strategy of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026, approved by President Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, is named as follows: "To further improve the investment environment in the country and increase its attractiveness, in the next five years 120 billion US dollars, including 70 to take measures to attract foreign investments of billion dollars".
