This article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the theoretical, legislative, and practical aspects of civil law regulation concerning the division of spouses' joint property. In the context of global economic trends and the emergence of new types of assets (e.g., shares in businesses, intellectual property, securities, digital assets), the process of 904 ResearchBib IF - 11.01, ISSN: 3030-3753, Volume 2 Issue 6 property division is becoming increasingly complex. The article critically analyzes existing gaps in the national legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding the regulation of these issues, as well as inconsistencies in judicial practice. Furthermore, advanced experience of developed foreign countries in this field is studied, and the possibilities of its application in Uzbekistan's conditions are considered. Based on the research findings, scientifically grounded proposals and recommendations are developed for improving legislative norms governing marital property relations and harmonizing judicial practice.
