Аннотация

This article describes the use of food names used in the Uzbek language and their meanings. Also, the lack of determining the lexical-semantic groups of food names and the factors affecting them was put as a problem. As a novelty, the definition of the boundaries of the lexicon of cooking and cooking, as well as the provision of information about the names of food belonging to their own strata, the places of their use, the analysis of the works of Uzbek scientists who studied the names of food from a lexical-semantic point of view, and it was determined that conclusions will be given on this basis.
