This article analyzes the main directions of the process of natural resource use in the Kashkadarya region and related environmental problems. The land, water, minerals and biological resources available in the region serve as an important factor of economic growth. However, their excessive and uncontrolled exploitation creates environmental threats such as soil erosion, water shortage, air pollution. The article puts forward proposals for sustainable use of resources and maintaining ecological balance, including modern monitoring systems, environmental standards and territorial planning.
