In the Samarkand city medical association in the department of thoraco-abdominal surgery in 2013-2016, 68 patients were hospitalized for postoperative ventral hernia. Of them, alloplasty was performed in 44 patients on the anterior abdominal wall by the "onlay" method, and the remaining 24 patients underwent alloplasty of the anterior Of the abdominal wall by the method of "sublay", about large and giant hernias. Among these alloplastics, the following complications were observed using the "onlay" method: recurrence of hernias, accumulation of subcutaneous seromy. In alloplasty by the method of "s Ublay "these complications were not observed, and the postoperative rehabilitation period was reduced.
