1 Yulduz Turdiyeva In this article, the concept of character in a work of art is discussed in detail, and its scientific and theoretical definitions are analyzed. Aspects and criteria specific to «character» are considered mainly based on Luqman Borikhan’s novel «People in the Heat», and attention is also paid to the writer’s individual style of character creation.
