COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT OF PERIODONTAL DISEASES USING LOW-INTENSITY MAGNETIC LASER RADIATION

The results of a clinical study evaluating the periodontal tissue index and functional vacuum testing indicate the effectiveness of low-intensity laser therapy in the combined treatment of chronic generalized catarrhal gingivitis. The use of this treatment method led to a faster reduction of inflammatory changes in the periodontal ligament and minimal discomfort for the patient compared with the control group in which a low-intensity laser was not included in the combined treatment plan.
