The captain then tells the story of all the tricks, cunning, slander, lies he made over the course of fouryears, and finally howhedisappeared as punishment forhis ownguilt. The persona of the slanderer, who is given in the story as "maraz", is tall, neck, nose, face longand black, wears a black hat, wears black glasses, has two bones under his chin, andhis head resembles a symbol of death. Of course, here we can highly appreciate the writer's skills. The"smell ofshadow" from theslanderer also justifies what a wicked and heis corrupt person. There are a lot of people like that in our society.
