The article draws attention to the relevance and complexity of surgical treatment of patients with acute obstruction of the small intestine and the need to create an algorithm for the selection of surgical operations in patients. As a result of the analysis of data obtained from 221 operated patients and a retrospective study of 32 medical records, an algorithm was proposed for the surgical treatment of patients with acute small bowel obstruction, depending on the period of the disease and the functional state of each patient.The use of sound tactics for the surgical treatment of patients with acute small bowel obstruction can improve the results of their treatment.
