This article analyzes the philosophical and aesthetic aspects of the work of the Uzbek writer and poet Askad Mukhtar. The essence of fiction, artistic creativity is revealed with the help of specific aphorisms of the writer. The connection between the philosophical views of Eastern and Western thinkers on artistic creativity is studied and the position of the writer is determined.
