This article is dedicated to the work of one of the major representatives of 17th-century English Enlightenment thought – the renowned philosopher, statesman, and thinker Francis Bacon. He left an important mark on the literature and philosophy of the European Renaissance with his profound thoughts, scientific worldview, and works written in a high style. In particular, his work “Experiences, or Moral and Political Advice” is considered one of the priceless masterpieces of English literature. Based on this work, the article analyzes Bacon’s views on human morality, political culture, upbringing, and ethics. Also, Francis Bacon’s philosophical and ethical ideas on the upbringing of a perfect person are widely covered in the context of the modern socio-spiritual environment, and they are interpreted in connection with the requirements of today.
