Аннотация
Quality of life is an important metric for health performance, health and well-being. Kidney disease is one of the major health problems affecting quality of life. This study aimed to assess the quality of life in dialysis (CKD-D) and non-dialysis (CKD-ND) patients with chronic renal failure (CKD) using the short form Kidney Quality of Life (KDQOL-SF™) and to identify differences in the symptoms of the disease between the two groups. The study included 200 patients with CKD. Our results showed that the burden of some symptoms was higher in the non-dialysis group compared to the dialysis group, but most symptoms did not reach statistical significance. Likewise, our results show no difference in quality of life and symptoms between dialysis and non-dialysis CKD patients.
