The article provides a socio-pragmatic classification of the terminological system of the banking sector in Great Britain and Uzbekistan, identifies both the presence of verbal inventory and the possibility of formation of terminological units.This approach allows us to identify the main classes of term units based on the characteristics of individual term creation, frequency of use, scope of use, historical features and structure of the sphere
