In the Uzbek linguistics the concept of the field began to be used in the 80‘s in classifying words in the lexical system of the language. In the recent years the term has also become increasingly popular in the Uzbek linguistics. But at the same time, other terms are also used along with this term. Therefore, the use of the term ―field‖ in the linguistics has not yet been decided.Nevertheless, there is some consensus on the use of the term ―field‖ in the study of these lexical units. In this article we have interpreted the term ―field‖ and made some remarks
