Аннотация

Iris L. is the largest genus in the Iridaceae family, and to date, scientists estimate that there are about 300 species in this family. Numerous studies based on morphological and genetic markers have been conducted to systematize members of the iris family. However, these studies still face some challenges in defining species boundaries and perfecting taxonomies. This requires excellent molecular-genetic research. In this article, a complete chloroplast genome analysis of four species of the genus was performed. The obtained results can be used as a source for further research on the taxonomy, phylogeny, biogeography and evolution of the Iridaceae family.
