This article analyzes the place of flower names in the linguistic system, their etymology, semantic features, national-cultural connotations, and linguocultural factors in the naming process. The study highlights the fact that flower names constitute an important part of the flora lexicon of the Uzbek language, the features of their use in poetic texts, phraseologisms, and onomastic units. The article suggests the main linguistic methods that can be used in the study of flower names - etymological, semantic, structural, comparative, and linguocultural approaches.
