МОДЕРНИЗМ И ПОСТМОДЕРНИЗМ: ФИЛОСОФСКИЙ АНАЛИЗ СОВРЕМЕННОГО МИРА

Аннотация

This article presents a systematic analysis of two main philosophical directions of contemporary worldview — modernism and postmodernism. The article examines the historical roots of modernism, its development from the 17th to the 20th centuries, and its influence on science, culture, art, and literature. The main features of modernism include rationalism, belief in scientific progress, and the existence of universal values. Furthermore, the article analyzes the emergence of postmodernism, its critical stance toward modernism, and its manifestations in contemporary society. Postmodernism is characterized by pluralism, subjectivism, elements of metafiction and irony, as well as a critical approach to social and cultural constructs. The article highlights the differences and similarities between modernism and postmodernism and evaluates their impact on society, culture, and human thinking. It also analyzes the relevance of these directions in contemporary worldview and their significance in art, literature, and philosophical thought. This study can serve as a valuable resource for academic research, pedagogical practice, and philosophical analysis.
