Аннотация

Allusion is considered one of the main means of intertextual links and might be generally defined as a reference to precedent text(s). Studies devoted to allusion are often reduced to identifying of the precedent text for subsequent interpretation of the allusive text. This article deals with allusion in the perspective of cognitive linguistics and the author suggests defining it as a way to actualize a certain cognitive structure which includes the precedent text as well
