Аннотация
At present, there is no analysis of errors in the assimilation of Chinese prepositions by Uzbek students. This study is the first of its kind. Chinese is an isolated language, prepositions are used to express grammatical meanings. As a rule, prepositional phrases consist of nouns. Whole prepositional phrases are mostly used as adverbs before sentence predicates. Uzbek is an agglutinative language, affixes and auxiliaries are very common. Affixes are placed after parts of speech to express different grammatical meanings. There is no classification of "prepositions" in the Uzbek language, and most of them correlate with Chinese prepositions as "affixes or auxiliaries". Based on the theory of "error analysis", in this paper, the Chinese preposition "Gen(u/c)" is chosen for research and testing Uzbek students, analyzing the causes of their mistakes and developing appropriate learning strategies.
