Development of the design of children's shoes for prevention of valgus foot

The article is devoted to the construction of children's preventive footwear, intended for the most common foot pathology in children - deformations with flat valgus. The article presents the results of research the packages of materials for uppers of kid’s shoes. This paper presents a study of the effects of seam parameters on the stiffness of the packages of materials (i.e. fabric, leather) for shoes upper with vertical plain seams. Investigation the stiffness of sewn packages, bending length and flexural rigidity obtained. In this study, the effects of seam parameters such as stitch density and seams distance on bending behaviour were evaluated According to results a new design of footwear with the new construction of heel part are developed.
