Аннотация

This article provides an in-depth comparative analysis of the impact of e-commerce on regional development and macroeconomic processes using three leading platforms as examples: Alibaba (China), Amazon (USA), and Uzum (Uzbekistan). Based on statistical data and academic research, it examines mechanisms for integrating remote areas into the digital economy, transforming logistics infrastructure, formalizing businesses, and expanding financial inclusion. Alibaba has demonstrated the effectiveness of rural digital clusters (Taobao Villages), Amazon has implemented a large-scale restructuring of the U.S. logistics map, and Uzum has rapidly developed a national marketplace with regional coverage. The conclusion offers recommendations for Uzbekistan on scaling up the positive effects of e-commerce, taking into account international experience.
