Аннотация

The article gives a detailed analysis of the genesis of the relationship between the chambers of the National Parliament of Great Britain in the system of “check and balances”: the history of origin of the parliament and its constituent chambers, legislative and budget processes, the practice of applying the right of absolute and suspensive veto, the powers of each chamber in adopting parliamentary acts, various bills, reforms in the sphere of parliamentarism development, as well as British parliamentary practice in overcoming differences between the chambers.
