Аннотация

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) represent one of the most common infectious diseases globally, particularly affecting women, the elderly, and catheterized patients. This paper provides an overview of current epidemiological data, diagnostic techniques, and treatment modalities used in the management of UTIs from a urological standpoint. Recent advancements in diagnostic methods and antibiotic stewardship have contributed to improved patient outcomes and reduced antimicrobial resistance. Understanding the patterns of infection and response to therapy is essential for evidence-based urological care.
