This article analyzes the philosophical and legal foundations of the concept of the national idea in the process of forming legal consciousness and legal culture. The national idea is a source of historical memory, spiritual unity and strength of society, an important factor in the development of civic consciousness and the formation of legal values. The article analyzes on a scientific and theoretical basis the factors determining the influence of the national idea on 56 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE PEDAGOGICAL REFORMS AND THEIR SOLUTIONS VOLUME 11, ISSUE 01, 2025 the deepening of legal consciousness and culture, especially in the process of building civil society in Uzbekistan (historical heritage, spiritual values, socio-political stability, modern education system). The author seeks to determine the place of the national idea as an ideological resource in the formation of modern legal consciousness and puts forward scientific andpractical proposals for improving legal culture. The study also highlights the possibilities of developing legal thinking through the national idea, taking into account foreign experience, modern psychological and sociological approaches. The scientific novelty of the article is manifested in the systematic analysis of the mechanisms of interaction between national ideology and legal consciousness.
