In contemporary times, the interaction between media and politics has evolved into a new dimension, driven by changes in societal dynamics. Politicians frequently incorporate entertainment elements to secure visibility in the media, while media platforms often feature entertaining political content, highlighting the growing role of entertainment in political communication. This phenomenon has sparked discussions around the term "politainment," a blend of"politics" and "entertainment," which is regarded as an innovative approach to political communication. The term was introduced into social sciences by German political scientist Andreas Dörner and can beinterpreted inuzbek as entertaining politics. The purpose of this study is to explore the concept of politainment, analyze the evolving relationship between media and politics, and examine changes in news reporting using the example of "The Daily Show," one of the most prominent television programs in the United States. The findings reveal that by integrating entertainment into their strategies, politicians gain greater visibility in media, enhance audience awareness of their messages, and make their messages more memorable and engaging. Additionally, media outlets incorporate political elements into theircontent to distinguish themselves and increase theirappeal to viewers.
