Аннотация

The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of multimedia technologies on the development of creative thinking skills in classroom settings. By integrating multimedia tools into lessons, educators can create more engaging and stimulating learning environments that foster creativity among students. This research examines the methods used to implement multimedia in teaching, analyzes its effects on students' creative abilities, and discusses the implications for educational practice. Keywords: Multimedia technologies, creative thinking, education, classroom engagement, interactivelearning, digital tools, student creativity. Creative thinking is a crucial skill in the modern educational landscape, enabling students to solve problems innovatively and adapt to rapidly changing environments. Traditional teaching methods often limit opportunities for creativity due to their rigid structure. Multimedia technologies—such as videos, interactive simulations, digital storytelling, and educational software—offer new ways to engage learners and encourage creative thought processes. This study aims to investigate how the useof multimediain lessons influences thedevelopment ofstudents'creative thinking. In recent decades, the rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed educational environments worldwide. Multimedia technologies, which combine text, images, audio, video, and interactive elements, offer innovative ways to present content and engage students actively in learning processes. This dynamic approach contrasts with traditional lecture-based teaching, which often emphasizes passiveknowledge reception. The role of creative thinking in education has gained significant attention because creativity is essential for adapting to complex problems and generating innovative solutions in various fields. As such, educators are increasingly interested in finding effective methods to cultivate creativity within the classroom. Integrating multimedia technologies presents a promising strategy to support this goal bymaking learning moreinteractive, personalized, and motivating. Despite the growing adoption of multimedia tools in education, there is a need for empirical research to examine how these technologies specifically affect students’ creative thinking skills. This study addresses this gap by investigating the implementation of multimedia in classroom lessons andevaluating its impact onstudents’ability to think creatively. This research employed a mixed-methods approach involving both qualitative and quantitative data. The study was conducted in a secondary school where multimedia technologies were integrated into various subjects over one academic semester. The sample included 60 students aged 14-16. Data collection tools included pre- and post-intervention creativity tests, classroom observations, and student interviews. Multimedia tools used included interactive whiteboards, video presentations, and educational apps designed tostimulatecreativity. The results indicated a significant improvement in students' creative thinking skills after the integration of multimedia technologies. Scores on creativity tests increased by an average of 25%. Classroom observations revealed higher levels of student engagement and participation during worldlyjournals.com ILMIY TADQIQOTLAR VA ULARNING YECHIMLARI JURNALI JOURNAL OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND THEIR SOLUTIONS VOLUME 6, ISSUE 01, IYUL 2025 WORLDLY KNOWLEDGE NASHRIYOTI multimedia-enhanced lessons. Interviews with students highlighted that multimedia resources made lessons moreinteresting and helped them think more divergently byoffering varied perspectives and interactiveexperiences. The findings suggest that multimedia technologies can effectively foster creative thinking by providing diverse stimuli and interactive learning opportunities. Multimedia tools support different learning styles and encourage experimentation, which is essential for creativity. However, successful implementation requires proper teacher training and access to technological resources. Future research should explore long-term effects and the impact of specific multimedia tools on various aspects of creativity. The enhancement of creative thinking through multimedia technologies aligns with existing educational theories that emphasize active learning and student-centered approaches. Multimedia provides multisensory stimuli—visual, auditory, and kinesthetic—that cater to diverse learner preferences, which can lead to deeper cognitive engagement. This multisensory input encourages students to makenovel connections, a key aspect ofcreativethinking. Furthermore, multimedia toolsfacilitatecollaborativelearning byenabling studentsto work together on projects using shared digital platforms. Collaboration fosters the exchange of ideas, peer feedback, and collective problem-solving, all ofwhich are important fornurturing creativity. Despite these positive outcomes, the study also identified challenges
