Аннотация

This article examines the segmental and suprasegmental features of the Russian and Kyrgyz languages. It analyzes vowel and consonant phonemes, as well as prosodic properties — such as vowel harmony, stress, and accentuation — that shape the phonetic structure of the language. Special attention is given to comparing vowel harmony and accentual characteristics of syllables and words, and their role in organizing the sound system in structurally different languages. Comparative analysis methods, inductive and deductive approaches were used, which made it possible to identify both similarities and typological differences, as well as to emphasize the theoretical and practical significance of the studied problem.
