This article examines the essence and significance of the online dispute resolution (ODR) system in the field of e-commerce, which has become an integral part of the modern economy. The article substantiates, with legal grounds, the necessity of implementing ODR mechanisms in the national legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It also highlights the economic importance of e-commerce, its contribution to the national GDP, and the advantages of resolving disputes between business entities and consumers through online platforms instead of traditional judicial procedures.
