Аннотация

Diaphragm actuators are an essential part of the control valves which most manufacturers use to control the flow of liquids and gases. However, the dynamic characteristics of this type of drive have not been studied well. In most scientific studies, membrane actuators were modeled using linear equations in system modeling. Because linear models greatly simplify the modeling process. However, ignoring some object coefficients in the modeling process leads to a decrease in the accuracy level of the model under construction. In this paper, a detailed mathematical model that presents the dynamic characteristics of diaphragm drives is derived. To improve the simulation accuracy, all forces acting on the object and their equilibrium conditions are taken into account. Estimations of the developed model is compared with the experimental data and the model is proved to be able to accurately estimate the coefficients for a specific process. According to the results of the mathematical model, the dynamic characteristics of the membrane actuator turned out to be nonlinear.
