This article discusses the issues of developing the professional competence of future teachers based on the integration of disciplines. Today, the interdisciplinary integration approach in the educational process requires teachers to have a wide range of knowledge, systematic thinking, and the use of innovative methods. From this perspective, the article analyzes the concept of subject integration, its basic principles, and advantages. The importance of the integrative approach in the formation of professional competencies of future teachers, its methodological capabilities, and ways of effective implementation are considered. The article also analyzes the practical aspects of developing pedagogical, methodological, communicative, and reflexive competencies in teachers through the integration of disciplines. The results of the study show that the integrated approach expands the possibilities of training competitive pedagogical personnel who can meet the requirements of modern education.
