Teachers need to adapt teaching methods to take into account the different levels of knowledge, peculiarities of native languages, and cultural differences of students. The purpose of the article is to show practical strategies that make teaching English more accessible and effective. Individual approach: Each student comes with his own level of English. In order to understand his needs, it is important to conduct pre-tests. This helps to adapt the teaching materials. Multi-level tasks give each student the opportunity to actively participate in the lessons and progress at his own pace.[1]. Multilingualism is defined as the ability of an individual or a community to communicate effectively in three or more languages. This concept emphasizes the linguistic diversity present within a society, reflecting human multiplicity. With around 6,500 to 7,000 languages spoken globally, it highlights the vast array of languages and the cultural richness they denote.[3] Multilingualism acts as a means of engaging with one’s cultural environment, with languages either thriving or diminishing due to various factors, including globalization and the rights of local languages. It contributes to a complex identity and is significant in terms of nationalism and regional rights, as well as supporting the maintenance or decline of endangered languages. Cultural Differences: Variations in cultural backgrounds can influence students. Content-based learning (CLIL): CLIL is a method in which subjects (such as history or biology) are taught in English. This approach allows students to apply English in specific situations, rather than just learning grammar. The method has proven itself in international classrooms. Group work: Working in pairs and teams encourages communication and mutual support. Strong students can help beginners, which creates a friendly atmosphere and facilitates faster learning. Permitted use of mother tongues: Although the main language of the lesson is English, in some situations using the students’ mother tongue can make it easier to understand complex topics. For example, translating key words or explaining complex tasks can be useful. Cultural diversity as a resource: The teacher should be respectful of different cultures. Discussing students’ traditions, holidays, and cultural themes makes lessons lively and personally meaningful. Teaching English in multilingual environments brings specific obstacles. Learners often come from various cultural and language backgrounds, which may lead to communication issues and confusion. Educators can find it challenging to manage different language skill levels, making it difficult to create lessons that suit all students. Switching between languages and influence from native tongues can interrupt the learning pace. Furthermore, the absence of culturally diverse teaching material
