This article addresses the strategically significant role of transboundary waters on a global scale, particularly within the Central Asian region. These water resources are pivotal not only for maintaining ecological balance but also for ensuring regional stability and economic 305 Iyun, 2025-Yil development. However, the distribution and utilization of transboundary waters can lead to disputes among numerous states. Consequently, this topic is of significant relevance from both a scientific and practical perspective. This article is dedicated to the issues of national legal regulation of transboundary water use. It analyzes the national legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in this area, norms of international law, and mechanisms of regional cooperation. Furthermore, proposals and recommendations are developed to ensure the rational and equitable use of transboundary water resources.
