Аннотация

The article considers the role of trade in ensuring food security in Uzbekistan, thus ensuring the fulfillment of the 2nd Sustainable Development Goal (Eradicate Hunger, Ensure Food Security and Improve Nutrition and Promote Sustainable Agricultural Development). The main trends in the development of foreign and domestic food trade are analyzed, and the problems and challenges facing the country in this area are identified. Recommendations on improvement of trade policy and infrastructure development to enhance food security of Uzbekistan are offered.
