This article discusses methods for increasing students’ interest during English lessons. It highlights effective ways to engage students in language learning through interactive methods, games, group activities, and modern technologies. The main goal of teaching English is not only to explain grammar rules but also to spark students’ interest in the language and help them maintain it. Without interest, the learning process becomes passive. Therefore, engaging students actively in English lessons is essential. 1. Using Interactive Methods Interactive teaching methods increase student involvement in the learning process. For example, techniques like “Question and Answer,” “Role Play,” and “Task-based Communication” allow students to practice the language in real situations. These methods turn students from passive listeners into active participants. 2. Learning Through Games Incorporating games into English lessons boosts student motivation and enthusiasm. Especially in primary grades, games such as “Memory Game,” “Word Search,” “Bingo,” and using flashcards make learning enjoyable and effective. Games help reinforce vocabulary and grammar in a playful way. 3. Utilizing Multimedia and Information Technologies Modern technologies make lessons more engaging and interactive. Using video lessons, online quizzes, animations, and interactive presentations helps students absorb information visually and audibly. This greatly increases their interest in the subject. 4.
