the present paper examines the initial poetic structures and eternal themes in Mikhail Lermontov's narrative strategy. In examining key works, we uncover how Lermontov's distinctive poetry technique overlaps with his narrative approach, revealing knowledge on the human condition, nature, and cosmic battles. Through a close analysis of thematic elements such as love, conflict, and quest for identity, we also study how Lermontov's innovative use of form makes his stories more emotionally resonant.
