Pediatric traumatology presents distinct clinical and diagnostic challenges due to the anatomical and physiological differences between children and adults. This review highlights the current issues and recent advancements in the management of pediatric fractures, head injuries, and spinal trauma. It emphasizes the importance of early diagnosis, age-specific treatment protocols, and advanced imaging technologies such as MRI and CT. Despite technological and therapeutic progress, significant gaps remain in standardizing care and addressing long-term outcomes. The integration of preventive strategies, multidisciplinary approaches, and rehabilitation frameworks is essential to optimize pediatric trauma care and reduce mortality and disability.
