It is known that in the pathogenesis of chronic periodontitis, the phenomena of alterative inflammation prevail, leading to the destruction periodontal complex with pathological activation of osteoclasts and bone resorption, researchers are searching for new methods of treatment that improve the regeneration of periodontal tissues. One of these methods is "Plasmolifting" - an injectable form of platelet plasma, developed by scientists MD. Akhmerov R.R. and Zarudiy R.F. in 2004 and used in the treatment of various inflammatory and atrophic conditions of the maxillofacial region.
