ANALYSIS OF LAND USE CHANGE USING REMOTE SENSING ON THE EXAMPLE OF TASHKENT REGION

Currently, satellite observation technologies allow obtaining objective data, quantitative information about various objects and phenomena. Land-use changes were identified in the Tashkent region between 1986 and 2020 using geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing technology. These studies were carried out using topographic maps and remote sensing data. A comparison of land use in 1986 and 2020 shows that there is a decrease in the area under study due to the transfer of part of the land to the city limits.
