TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE USE OF COLLECTOR-DRAINAGE WATER IN COTTON IRRIGATION

The irrigated territory of the Khorezm region is located on the lower reaches of the Amu Darya. In dry years, there is a shortage of irrigation water. Therefore, on the basis of the experiments carried out, it is proposed to use the subirrigation method, i.e. joint use of surface and ground waters for irrigation of cotton, winter wheat and other crops. Partial compensation for moisture deficit is carried out by raising groundwater and moistening the root layer of the soil due to capillary forces. At the same time, it is proposed to use groundwater of a certain salinity, depending on specific climatic and soil-reclamation conditions.
