Аннотация

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease that predominantly affects women, with a significantly higher prevalence compared to men. The disease is characterized by persistent joint inflammation, leading to pain, swelling, stiffness, and potential disability. The course of RA in women differs due to a combination of hormonal fluctuations, genetic predisposition, and lifestyle factors. This article explores the unique aspects of RA progression in women, including symptoms, risk factors, and treatment approaches. Understanding these gender-specific differences is essential for developing personalized treatment plans that optimize disease management and improve quality of life for female patients. Current research highlights the need for targeted therapies that address the specific immunological and hormonal mechanisms affecting women with RA. Key Words: Rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune disease, women, hormonal influence, genetic predisposition, inflammation, lifestyle factors, treatment.
