POLITICIZATION OF ISLAM IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND ITS IMPACT ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF UZBEKISTAN

This article analyzes from the point of view of the philosophy of history the history of the politicization of Islam, social, political and economic problems in the Middle East, the reasons for the transformation of religion into a political force as a result of the emergence and widespread dissemination of the ideology of “Islamism” in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as modern forms of Islamism. In addition, modern Islamism and the process of politicization of religion are considered, with special attention paid to the issue of maintaining a balance between moderation and radicalism. In the article, the author analyzes the various stages of Islamism, including pan-Islamism, movements for national independence and the processes of politicization of Islam in the modern era of globalization. He also compares the differences between Islamism and Islam, examines the interaction between politics and religion, and emphasizes that Islamism has moved away from religious values ​​and has become a political movement, which has led to the rise of extremism and terrorism.
